This notice explains how My Carbons Yazılım Sanayi Limited Şirketi (“MyCarbons”, “we”) processes personal data when you visit mycarbons.com or get in touch with us. It is our information notice under Article 10 of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”) and, where it applies to you, under Articles 13–14 of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”).
The MyCarbons customer portal (portal.mycarbons.com) is not covered by this notice. Processing there is governed by the agreement with your company and the notices provided in the portal.

Who receives the data
Our hosting provider, whose servers in the European Union run this website and the calculator.
Cloudflare, Inc. (USA), which delivers the website through its global network and protects it against attacks. All website traffic passes through Cloudflare.
Microsoft (Microsoft 365), which provides our e-mail service.
Google (Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC), only if you allow Google Maps. Google acts as an independent controller for that data.
Our lawyers, accountants, tax advisers and auditors, where necessary for their work.
Courts, public authorities and law enforcement, when the law requires it.
Transfers outside Türkiye
Because our servers are in the European Union and Cloudflare, Microsoft and Google operate internationally (including in the USA), personal data is transferred outside Türkiye. We make these transfers in line with Article 9 of the KVKK: on the basis of the appropriate safeguards it provides for (standard contracts) and, for Google Maps, on the basis of your explicit consent to an occasional transfer, given after being informed that the data reaches Google’s servers abroad, where the level of protection may not be the same as in Türkiye.
Your rights
Under Article 11 of the KVKK you have the right to:
learn whether your personal data is processed and, if so, request information about it;
learn the purpose of the processing and whether the data is used for that purpose;
know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom the data is transferred;
ask for incomplete or inaccurate data to be corrected;
ask for the data to be deleted or destroyed under the conditions in Article 7 of the KVKK;
ask for corrections, deletions or destruction to be notified to the third parties the data was transferred to;
object to a result against you that arises from analysis carried out exclusively by automated systems;
claim compensation if you suffer damage because of unlawful processing.
If the GDPR applies to you, you also have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection, and the right to withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing carried out before the withdrawal.
To use these rights, send us a request in writing to the address above with a wet signature, via registered electronic mail (KEP) or with a secure electronic or mobile signature, or by e-mail to info@mycarbons.com from an e-mail address you have previously given us or that is registered in our systems, as set out in the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles for Applications to the Data Controller. We reply within 30 days at the latest and free of charge; if answering involves an additional cost, we may charge the fee set by the Personal Data Protection Board.
You may also complain to the Personal Data Protection Board (kvkk.gov.tr). If you live in the European Union, you may complain to the data protection authority of your country.
Security
The website is served only over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Access to personal data is limited to staff who need it, and our service providers are bound by confidentiality and security obligations.

This website is intended for businesses and is not directed at children.

Yurt dışına aktarım
Sunucularımız Avrupa Birliği’nde bulunduğundan ve Cloudflare, Microsoft ile Google uluslararası (ABD dâhil) faaliyet gösterdiğinden kişisel verileriniz yurt dışına aktarılmaktadır. Bu aktarımları KVKK’nın 9. maddesine uygun olarak; anılan maddede öngörülen uygun güvencelere (standart sözleşme) dayanarak ve Google Haritalar bakımından, verilerin Google’ın yurt dışındaki sunucularına ulaşacağı ve buralarda Türkiye’dekiyle aynı düzeyde koruma bulunmayabileceği konusunda bilgilendirildikten sonra arızi aktarıma verdiğiniz açık rızaya dayanarak gerçekleştiriyoruz.
KVKK’nın 11. maddesi kapsamındaki haklarınız
Kişisel verilerinizin işlenip işlenmediğini öğrenme, işlenmişse buna ilişkin bilgi talep etme,
işlenme amacını ve bunların amacına uygun kullanılıp kullanılmadığını öğrenme,
yurt içinde veya yurt dışında aktarıldığı üçüncü kişileri bilme,
eksik veya yanlış işlenmişse düzeltilmesini isteme,
KVKK’nın 7. maddesindeki şartlar çerçevesinde silinmesini veya yok edilmesini isteme,
